Just for J 5K RunJ

Saturday, April 22, 2017
8:30 am – 1 Mile Fun Run
9:00 am – 5k Run

“The mission of Just for J is to continue to bring awareness not only to CMT but to also help support families with similar circumstances. As any family with a special needs child knows, there are many hardships with daily living. The Just for J 5K was created in honor of Jacqueline “J” Dyer to help make her “bucket list” a reality. The overwhelming outpour of love and support not only from family and friends, but from those they do not know led them on a mission to give back. In honor of Jacqueline, the Just for J 5K, while continuing to support J and her needs, will also honor a special family to receive a portion of the proceeds raised each year.”

Charcot Marie Tooth Disease (CMT) is a peripheral form of neuropathy with no known cure to date. Faced with an unknown future and a highly progressive form of this disease, J’s diagnosis has drastically changed their lives. Despite the constant battles, the Dyer family strives to maintain a positive attitude and live life to the fullest each day.

Entry Fees: Pre-registration is $20-$25. Race day registration available for $5 extra fee starting at 7:30am.

All pre-registered participants are guaranteed a Just for J t-shirt!
