Do you have children to provide for? Or grand kids or godchildren you can’t help but spoil? Do you hate buying new clothes for your child, only to have them outgrow it within a few short months? Buying new clothing for your kids as they grow is a necessity, but paying retail prices is not always practical.  Kid to Kid has found a way to help the community exchange quality children’s clothing at every income level.

Located near the intersection of Northwest Hwy and Park Blvd, Kid to Kid has been serving Grapevine and Southlake customers since 2013.

Kid to Kid specializes in kids “stuff” and provides a place for parents to sell their kids’ stuff to Kid to Kid as their child grows. “It’s smart and easy!” When you bring in your kids’ outgrown items and your outgrown maternity wear, Kid to Kid will pay you cash or 20% more in store credit for each item accepted. Kid to Kid will buy back toys, apparel and equipment. The better condition and cleaner the items, the more you can earn back. Kid to Kid buys boys and girls clothing sizes: 12 months – 10. Equipment includes items such as strollers, high chairs, baby swings and Pack ‘N Plays. They also buy outdoor toys, ride-on toys, books, maternity fashions, walkers, play centers, shoes and boots.

Kid to Kid provides a place for parents to find high quality kids clothing, gear and toys for their next growth phase, but at more affordable prices. Even though technically a resale shop, Kid to Kid remains superior to most thrift shops because it is kid specific, and each item is inspected for quality and condition before it is purchased to resell. You won’t find stained, torn or worn out items at this resale shop. Plus, buying new kids’ stuff is not cheap. Strollers can cost anywhere from $75 – $500 and buying second hand is a great alternative to find a high quality stroller at a more affordable price.

“From recycling clothes every day to holding charity sales, we love to join up with our customers for a good cause.”

Not only does each Kid to Kid store support the local community, but they have also done some great things globally. In 2015 and 2016, Kid to Kid teamed up with Uptown Cheapskate to raise over $160,000 for the buildOn “movement.” BuildOn is a charity that is constructing new schools globally in some of the economically poorest countries in the world. The charity sales generated allowed buildOn to build schools in five highly under-served countries, including Mali, Burkina Faso, Senegal, Haiti and Nicaragua. Throughout the year, Kid to Kid and Uptown Cheapskate organized “Charity Fill-a-Bag” sales to help generate donations. As Kid to Kid continues to raise money for buildOn, they are also raising money towards sponsoring under-privileged inner-city American students to complete treks to help build the schools. In this way, the goal is to help change lives both in our home cities and abroad.

With over 100 franchise locations now open, Kid to Kid is growing rapidly and continues to bring community to parents searching for quality, cute and affordable children’s clothing. Franchise opportunities are available if you are interested to learn more.
