Bear Creek Golf Club
Grapevine is also home to the Bear Creek Golf Club, located on the west grounds of Dallas Fort Worth International Airport. It’s been said that you can fly in, play a round of golf, and fly out without being missed at the office. Premier golf architect, Ted Robinson, designed the award winning 36-hole course. It features two championship 18-hole golf courses with Bent grass greens.
This resort course promises tight fairways and small greens for a competitive edge. The Club also offers preferred tee times, a driving range, two putting greens and courtesy shuttles from the Hyatt airport hotels.
Additionally, golfer’s can enjoy a casual breakfast and lunch on site at Hackers Grill or picnic in one of the nearby pavilions with full-service catering by the Hyatt. The Club offers outstanding tournament and event packages for large groups.
Cowboys Golf Club
Cowboys Golf Club is the world’s first NFL-themed, resort-style golf course. Inspired by excellence, this daily fee, 18-hole golf course offers innovative golf and a unique entertainment experience as well. Award-winning golf course architect Jeff Brauer and the construction team worked with the City of Grapevine and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to preserve the natural environment of the 159-acre site.
The Club is designed as the ultimate destination for business entertainment, corporate tournaments, executive meetings and special events up to 150 guests. The clubhouse features a Hall of Honor with a magnificent display of the coveted Super Bowl trophies and memorabilia of Cowboys legends both past and present. Complete with a Pro Shop and private golf instructions, Cowboys also offers fine dining cuisine at the new Ring of Honor Kitichen & Bar.
Grapevine Municipal Golf Course
Grapevine Municipal Golf Course, a championship golf course designed by legendary Byron Nelson and Joe Finger, is rated among the top 75 public courses in the United States. The 27-hole course is one of the most popular courses in Tarrant County, with golfers playing more than 65,000 rounds of golf per year on the average.
The facility offers three courses with modern tif-eagle greens and naturally scenic roughs and water hazards. Bluebonnet offers the golfer a great set of holes with spectacular elevation changes, blind shots and fast greens, while Mockingbird and Pecan were recently renovated to offer the golfer competitive challenges. The Municipal Golf Course also offers individual lessons from onsite pros, a driving range, 1/2-day golf clinics, and meeting room/special event facilities.
The newest addition is a lighted driving range for those wanting to perfect their swing and improve their game on a real grass range – at night!
