Local Attractions

Grapevine is full of fun for everyone. No matter what type of activities you like best, Grapevine welcomes you! Whether it’s boating on Lake Grapevine, exploring Legoland Discovery Center, or enjoying a nice glass of local wine; Grapevine has something for everyone.

Business travelers, families, and large groups love coming to Grapevine because of the wide variety of local attractions and activities that everyone can enjoy.

Grapevine is well-known for its Historic Downtown. Locals and visitors love to visit Main Street for its great restaurants, quirky antiques, awesome street festivals, boutique shopping and rich history.

Uncommon in North America, Grapevine is home to the Grapevine Glockenspiel Clock Tower. High above the corner of Main and Hudgins Street, the Would-Be Train Robbers emerge each day at noon, 3pm, 6pm and 9pm to take you back in history. Arrive to the viewing area a few minutes early to read the history of the Texas tale before the gunfight begins.

Another historical landmark is the Cotton Belt Railroad District. Full of vintage structures, the area is home to many community landmarks; including the Depot, the Blacksmith’s Shop, the Grapevine Historical Museum, and the Visitor Information Center. Take a ride on the Grapevine Vintage Railroad to the Fort Worth Stock Yards; or join them for special events throughout the year, such as Day Out with Thomas, North Pole Express, Halloween Treat Train and Jazz Wine Trains.
