Not only was the groom beaming, but he also was singing praises of Grapevine. Matt Kerlee warmly greeted family and guests, agreeing with them that this was the perfect place for a wedding—all a bloom with red, fragrant roses. As friends were being seated, he told some that they too could rent the historic Gazebo from the CVB!
“And you know I found these great chairs at Fox Rental here in Grapevine, too. As a matter of fact ... Kim and I found most everything for our wedding right here. You know Grapevine’s a fun place to live, but it’s a really great place to get married too!”
No one would ever disagree with a man in love. And many have come to love the city, but Kerlee has been fond of it ever since he first moved here years ago. So he and Kim decided that they would shop Grapevine for their wedding needs and they were not disappointed. “Store owners went over the top to help us...it was amazing. The Magic Pen did our invitations, and City Florist had great ideas for our flowers and decorating the Gazebo. We were expecting really hot, humid August weather and Shazamm! Promotional Products produced personalized wedding fans.
“And the food was so easy to plan ---just ONE street had it all. We had a lively meet-the-family dinner at Tin Spirits, then the rehearsal dinner was perfect at Into the Glass, and the wedding reception and dinner following the wedding was just an easy walk across the street for our guests to Farina’s Winery. The food, drinks, personal service and ambiance were great at every venue. And then, Main Street Bread Baking Company topped the evening off, making our beautiful wedding cake.”
And here’s one last secret to share with those who have two left feet: “Kim and I took couples dance lessons at Let’s Dance that were great fun (and really helped raised our public dancing confidence level). Yes, Grapevine delivered! It was a one-stop shop right here in town for the perfect wedding. We highly recommend shopping and enjoying what we have in our back yard. And speaking of back yards...Kim and I will continue to live in Grapevine while our girls go to great GCISD schools. It’s just a wonderful place...what else can we say?”
