Group Activities

Once the event location is set, let the exciting activity planning begin. Offer the best for your guests while they are visiting Grapevine. Groups can organize a variety of fun activities such as a train ride in a vintage railcar, a murder mystery dinner, ghostly wine tours, team builders, group rock climbing sessions, or even rent a private yacht or sailboat on Lake Grapevine. There are also six wineries that offer wine tastings, daily specials and delicious food.

Most everything is within walking distance or a short drive from Historic Downtown Grapevine, making it easy for everyone to get from place to place. The Grapevine Visitor Shuttle is also a convenient and inexpensive way for your guests to get around town. Charter buses, shuttles and trolleys are available for large groups, and taxis are available as well.

One reason many groups chose Grapevine is due to the Texas-style activities and destinations. Grapevine has that true “Texas Flair” and has plenty of places to entertain you and your guests. No, people aren’t riding their horses down Main Street (anymore at least), but the Texas tradition still remains strong in Grapevine. For 40 years, Austin Ranch has been a premier destination for reunions, corporate events, fundraisers and weddings. It is also one of the oldest dude ranches in Texas. They offer western hospitality, trail rides, and the property is over 90 acres of dense woods, rolling hills, and a private lake.

Weddings

Grapevine is home to numerous wedding ceremony and reception sites as well. There are also several locations for rehearsal dinners, bachelor and bachelorette parties, and wedding showers. There are many unique and beautiful indoor and outdoor options. The Botanical Gardens in Heritage Park is a local favorite for outdoor ceremonies. Many of the area hotels also have special wedding packages. Celebrating your parent’s 50th wedding anniversary or renewing your vows?
