TEXRail is the new 27-mile commuter rail line that begins service on January 5th, 2019. The new line will run from downtown Fort Worth, through northeast Tarrant County, through North Richland Hills and Grapevine, and into Terminal B at DFW International Airport.
The new line is projected to serve more than 8,000 riders daily at nine stations in its first year of operation. This line will provide direct access to all activity centers in the corridor, and would connect with other transportation services, including the Trinity Railway Express (TRE) commuter rail service, AMTRAK, and Trinity Metro stations. The new line will provide access for travelers, commuters, airport employees and more, and will create a bridge between Dallas and Fort Worth via DFW Airport.
